EDIT (source bgg) : “A mini-expansion for the game …aber bitte mit Sahne: the ‘wild card’ part of the pie has all the fruits depicted on it. The Joker is mixed with the other components. When the Joker is played during the game, it’s submitted immediately to any variety that you collect OR you can eat it and get 2 points.”

jeffinberlin sur BGG dit:English Translation of the Rules for the Joker Slice (with further explanation added):
EDIT: I missed something in the rules--a nice twist that Winning Moves added. It is corrected below:
The joker slice is mixed in together with the other slices. Because of this, 3 slices instead of 2 are put aside at the beginning of the game without looking at them.
If you take a piece of the cake with the joker on your turn, you may immediately place it next to any one type of cake you are collecting, or you immediately eat it for 2 "whipped cream" points.
If you collect it, it is worth 1 extra slice of the type of cake to which it has been placed at the end of the game.
If you decide to collect the Joker slice, another player may trade for it on a future turn. Your opponent can do this when she takes a slice matching the set to which your Joker slice has been placed. She gives you the slice she has taken, and then takes the Joker from you in return. She can then decide to immediately eat the slice or collect it and place it with any of her other collected slices.
In this way, the Joker slice could change hands several times during the game (and even during a single round!).
Example: You take the Joker slice and place it next to your set of Strawberry slices. It now counts as an extra Strawberry slice for you. On a future turn, however, one of your opponents takes a Strawberry slice, and decides to trade the slice for your Joker. You replace the Joker with her Strawberry slice, and she places it with her Kiwi slices. Now the Joker counts as 1 more Kiwi slice for your opponent.
NOTE: for those players who feel that the first player in a 4-player game has an unfair handicap, there is a variant that is enhanced by the presence of an additional slice in the mix: After the first round and before the second cake is turned up, the player who divided the first pie may look at the 3 slices set-aside at the beginning of the game, choose one, and either collect it or "eat it" immediately. In a 3-player game, the second "divider" may do the same with the remaining 2 slices after the second round.
