Yes, yesterday with my kids and my wife.
We had a good fun playing it all together.
It's not that easy to land the ball where you want each time you play,
especially when the grid becomes busy,
this creates a nice tension, keeping players interest up until the end of the game.
I took a very good opportunity to open that box before Christmas,
it was my daughter's birthday yesterday, we will celebrate it on Sunday,
but it's always nice to have something to open on the D day
Cubiko was a very nice "bonus" surprise

For good strategy...
Try playing adults only (men v women is very funny).
Try double teams (partners play opposite like in bridge and use their own cubes.)
Playing to 4 points is my favourite target. 5 points is also very good.
Watchout for players tidying up the board, cubes should only be touched when being moved or removed.
ca me parait simplifier beaucoup la chose non.

At 06:22 there is an error in play.
Yellow cube is moved...therefore the blue cube should not have been removed from the square.

at 04:46 in the video ,is the move legal?
It seems to remove the difficulty of targeting the outermost square for a player.

It is legal, players may bounce the ball from any angle.
I made this rule for the following reasons...
1) It eliminates disputes over boundaries.
2) It allows more choice and variety of technique.
3) It requires good hand/eye coordination.
4) I think more skill than luck is better.
5) I think a quicker game is better than prolonged game.
Getting the ball to the other side of the grid from your side requires more luck than skill as the ball needs to get past two cross-frames. Success rate is very low.
When playing a reverse shot, it takes a fair amount of skill to achieve consistant results.
Remember...
Players must remain seated when taking a shot and the grid must not be rotated.

I agree with that, we will very soon give it a try.
By the way, i've just added some precise details in the rules about the specific bouncing "angle" rule, in the "REGLE DE BASE" section. You can copy and paste it directly from here.
The 5th generation of Cubiko will be ready for release at UK Games Expo 2010 in June.
Since the game will now be able to be played in two ways I have also decided to add a nice little rule amendment that will be published with all new games…
When a cube rests on the cross frame divide it cannot be moved. Use the ball to bump it back into play.
A cube positioned on the cross frame now becomes more interesting and challenging.
All the best,
Cubikoman.
