Cette boite, hormis les figurines additionnels (30 + tuiles), est une version deluxe / rehaussé / des particularites par rapport au matériel de la boite de base à 90€ ou c'est la même chose que la boite de base hormis les 30 figurines ?
C'est le terme deluxe qui m interpelle ( comme la deluxe version de Caylus, de haute tension etc où le matériel est différent.
Merci si vous avez l info. Si c'est la même, je pense partir sur le plegde à 90 ;-))

He's great show material for our Tric Trac TVs, as we'd say. He exhales cheerfulness, drinks loads of coffee and curses a lot when he is losing.
That is to say, in a really short while, he became a major player in the game creation area (you guys are still with me?). His whole life is dedicated to games, he invests all his available time and money to stride the path he has chosen. Without looking back.

What and Why.
You might have heard about it, Frédéric Henry is working on a board game adaptation of "Conan". Said game will (hopefully) be funded via Kickstarter, thanks to pledges.
It's been a year already that things have been put in motion, prepared, improved with the idea of releasing an exceptionnal game. To achieve that, he gathered every single one of the best people around Conan. The most reknown lore experts, the best sculptors, all-star artists, and exceptional writers. The best writers indeed, as there will be loads of scenarios associated to famous names. In short, a really REALLY ambitious project.
We think it might be worth following all that with an inside eye, in order to produce a video coverage. One in the essence of the previous we did on the Space Cowboys (click here to see what we are able of).
We want to get inside the thought process of Frédéric Henry, his personality, his philosophy, and, on top of that, be there as the Kickstater unfolds. Our ambitious project will be launched thanks to an even more ambitious team, willfull and with lots of character.

What sort of Coverage.
There are many ways to approach something like this, be it in content and form. It is often driven by final duration, mixed with time spent with interviewees and inquiries that'll define what it'll look like, its type, or cost. The longer it takes, the more topics are meddled with, the more images we have, the more we work on said images, and the longer, the deepest will the coverage be. Until we reach a duration, a production that might border to a documentary...
On the Internet, we aren't limited by duration, unlike a TV channel would be, due to broadcasting schedules. We are delving in the VOD area, which enables us to free ourselves from hassles liable to timing issues. We can produce as much as needed, as long as there are topics to be covered, things to be done, and decide to broadcast the result in an unconventionnal fashion. This is one of the Web's strengths.

Nonetheless, expenses, and ressource management will also be a driving force for the overall duration of the coverage, and what will be made out of it. In the pre-production steps, do we take some time to delve even deeper, earlier in the project, make extra research to find greater questions, find even better angles? In the production step, do we take time for good shots, or even better ones, with extra lighting? Will we shoot interviews with several cameras to have a more fluid, stylish rendering? Post-process wise, do we rework on smoother image quality, inserts, [bancs-titres, j'ai bien "rostrum Camera", mais je suis pas expert ^^], slick opening and end credits to make the whole thing even better, smoother?
Costs

Audiovisual in an expensive exercise. First of all, because of its technicality. You need equipment, you need certain sets of skills. Things to record images. Stuff to hear actual sounds. Lighting equipment. An extra for sound captation, a cameraman, someone to hold the interview, a director, someone who decides if this or that angle is the right one. An editor... And the more equipment you have, the more crew you have, the more the topic of the capture is complicated, far from general, common journalist knowledge, the higher expenses will be.
Shooting a 3 minutes topic takes a whole day, when a 52 minutes long one will require a couple months. Between pre production, the actual shooting, and editing, hours are costly. That is why we wil use thresholds.
We are going to set a minimum goal to shoot a short coverage (5 to 10 minutes).
This budget includes :
- Planning time
- Travel expenses (car rental, gas, toll...)
- 1 shooting day with a single cameraman / soundman [là non plus, je sais pas trop]
- 1 day for derushing [voc tech] and pre-editing
- 1 day to edit, with credits
The base gauge for this coverage is set at 400 000 Pouic(os) (that's a hard 2000€*). The upper thresholds will enable to have a larger timespan for shooting, and the array of covered topics. We would be able to have guest hosts, interview some designers, publishers working with / that used to work with Frédéric Henry, and more....

How was "Conan" worked on, as a game? What does Frédéric Henry foresee for himself, for the gaming industry? We are going to try to understand what drives him...
There is A LOT to do with, to say, on Frédéric Henry, on the "Conan" project, on Kickstarter. This is a new process that is being put in motion, it is fascinating to be a privileged eye on the inside.

The minimum Threshold
With the funding of the first threshold, the 400 000 pouic(os) one, we'll focus on Frédéric Henry and "Conan", the board game. We'll try to meet the major players in the project, to get their ambitions, and reactions...
The following thresholds will enable us to delve into even more topics, to go deeper on the testing phase, communication, and follow the game's release during Gen Con 2015...
Schedule.
Once the funds are leviied, we'll have a better vision on the amount of time needed to achieve our goals. If we assume a max threshold, we'll need roughly a month to schedule shootings, the different planned interviews, and take in account all details. Once shooting is done, we'll need another month to properly edit everything to the final cut. The result, barring any unexpected issues, be released online in september 2015, provided we are going as far as Gen Con, in august 2015.
Since there are a lot of different topics and material, there's a high chance we'll divide the whole thing in chapters, so as to have as little delay as possible between the opening of the project, and its final release. Thus the final coverage would be online late 2015.
Notes :
1. *Pouic(os) are bought in packs, the price of a single Pouic might thus vary
2. The displayed sums in € are there as an indicator. They won't be converted to a net amount of money we'd pay ourselves with. You have to take VTA in account (19.6%), meaning that, roughly, for 100€ we'll really get 75€ to spend on the project
3. Any exceeding amount will be used to renew equipment, mainting it, and other company expenses
4. Pouic(os) will be refunded if and only if the coverage doesn't happen at all. And will be refunded as Pouic(os), not €uros
5. We can't promise you'll be satisfied by the coverage. We'll try to do the best possible one according to our equpment, skills, and topics. We can't guarnatee anything beyond our intellectual or artsy abilities.
6. Schedule is given as an intent, not a deadline.
7. Pledging in favour of the project by spending Pouic(os) won't give you any right on the shoot, coverage angle, what could / should / not be shown in it etc... It does not grant you any right on distributing, online broadcasting or Flat Prod's work, and this whatever your pledge level might be. We wish to remain as independent and autonomous as possible. And we know you want this too.

ils ont un mois pour l'apprendre. Et tu es là pour faire le relais. Si ce n'était pas le cas, ils ne feraient pas une campagne sur 30 jours mais sur 15 ;)
KS est un site international, moins il y aura de "langue étrangère", mieux le projet se portera. Je sais, il y a des arguments contraires mais ils sont tous basés sur des expériences très particulières. Conan est un jeu nouveau qui a besoin de volume = c'est son intérêt (à Conan) et donc le nôtre (backers ou non) qu'il reste le plus possible sur cet objectif.
Mets un drapeau bleu-blanc-rouge et tu frustres allemands, espagnols et tibétains (entre autres)

Pile poil des que tu insistes sur une deuxieme langue tu te retrouves avec des requetes a la con et un bordel sans nom... a nous de faire le taff!!! mais risquer de perdre/faire douter 8 ou 9k étrangers pour quelques centaines ou un millier de francais c'est tres osé...

Je regarde la TT TV, il s’ennuie pas trop celui qui joue le mal ? Ca peut être très long entre deux tours.

Et on vient de passer les 2900 bakers (la faute est volontaire).

Je viens de rattraper difficilement mon retard de lecture aujourd’hui, le nombre de nouvelles pages est hallucinante :D

Les addons tu changeras ton pledge... et si c'est a la hausse tu repasses par amazon pour une autorisation qui remplace la précédente... le port ce sera plus tard dans le pledge manager avec un paiement séparé (moins de frais pour monolith....)
